Every summer, the Bears host a tournament in honor of Josh Harrison, who passed away in November 2013. Josh played for the Bears in 2012 and 2013. Before that, from 2001 - 2011, he played for his hometown team, the St. Martin Martins. Josh could do it all on the field with his pitching, hitting, and glove over at first base. Teammates of his will tell you he was a great baseball player, but an even better person off the field. His #22 jersey lives on with his brother-in-law, Ryan Brintnall (Manager of the Bears), wearing it in each game.
Josh was a stellar athlete at Albany High School in Albany, Minnesota. He then attended Concordia-St. Paul in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he majored in Sports Management/Kinesiology and played football. While there, he met his wife, Katie Brintnall. They got married a couple years later and had two kids together (Isla and Grady).
Along with the memorial tournament, the Bears always make a weekend trip up to Stearns County. No matter if the team is playing in a tournament that weekend or just there to watch, it's a great time. Baseball is a special game that brings people togethter and creates many memories.

Josh was loved by all of his teammates, coaches, and fans. As he would say, "Fun to watch!"
